Dragonair will operate 3 Hong Kong-Da Nang flights per week, starting from 28 March, 2013 according to Da Nang’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.  The airline will use a 180-seat Airbus 320 for this route, which will operate on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Dragonair is part of Cathay Pacific, the international flag carrier of Hong Kong which serves 150 countries and territories worldwide.  Its passengers are from European and Asian countries and Australia, but mainly come from Hong Kong.

Da Nang is served by 12 international air routes operating from many countries but especially in Asia, such as Korea, China and Malaysia.  These routes collectively bring around 15,000 visitors to the city every month, and the new route from Hong Kong should help to increase that figure.
